Who Are We

The Queen Alia Foundation for Hearing & Speech was established in 1978 in the memory of Her Majesty the late Queen Alia of Jordan.

Mrs. Hanan Hashem Toukan the mother of Her Majesty the late Queen Alia of Jordan undertook the establishment of the foundation along with a number of society ladies, Doctors and specialists in the field of audiology and speech & language pathology.

The board of directors of the Queen Alia Foundation is headed by HRH Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein.

The foundation has been taking care of adults and children hearing impaired as well as those with speech and language difficulties, In order to ensure the best services, the foundation had taken upon itself to acquire the latest up to date equipment and specialized staff in audiology, speech and language pathology.

Our staff is constantly attending workshops, seminars and courses offered in different countries in the world in order to achieve the highest available education offered in this field.

Today, the foundation comprises a distinguished team highly experienced in audiology and speech and language pathology.

Children Audiology Clinic

Supervised through our Audiology Specialist, all hearing evaluation tests for all ages, including screening, are performed.

Adult Audiology Clinic

Pure Tone Audiometry (PTA), Speech Audiometry, Acoustic Imittance including Tympanometry, Acoustic Reflexes & Threshold as well as Eustachian Tube Function.

Aural Rehabilitation Department

Highly advanced methods and softwares are used in the fitting procedure with special attention to the special fitting formulas for newborns and children.

Speech & Language Therapy

Our distinguished and highly experienced team at this department perform evaluation, parents counseling as well as rehabilitation for all cases of speech & language pathology.

Ear Mould Laboratory

In order to ensure the best services, we acquired the latest up to date equipment for our ear mould laboratory. We use the light curing method.
